  • Right now, we can handle the following media types: VHS, VHS-C, Mini DV, & Hi-8. Have something else? Let us know and we will try to accommodate!

  • Yes we can! We don’t rip movies but if you have a home video on DVD we can extract that to digital for you!

  • No problem - we won’t charge you!

    Please note that if a tape has even a few minutes of footage on it, we will provide the conversion for it.

    The processing for shorter tapes is the same as longer, so tape conversions are charged per tape, not based on the length of footage.

  • We will email you a download link which will expire 1 year from the date we send it. You can access that at any time to download the files to your computer.

  • All of the media is converted from my home office but all tapes can be dropped off & picked up at Dwyers Salon in Dike, Iowa.

  • We currently don’t offer it but if you have photos that need to be scanned, please reach out. I am considering offering this soon!

  • Of course, but we prefer to have the tapes dropped off so that nothing happens to your tapes in the mail. The last thing you want is a package to go missing with the only copy of your home video!

    If you must ship, please let us know and we will suggest the best way to do this.

  • We guarantee a 3 to 4 week turn around on most projects!

    We are happy to offer a rush delivery for an extra fee, please reach out if this is something you need!

  • We accept cash, card, or check!

Rewind the Times is not responsible for tapes that arrive damaged or due to age of the tape are damaged during the conversion process. By partnering with Rewind the Times you release Rewind the Times from all liability for damage to the tapes you send us. 

Rewind the Times reserves the right to not convert tapes that contain copyrighted material or any material that Rewind the Times staff determine to be explicit (i.e. sexual or violent images) or criminal in nature. Those who are in violation will be charged 50% of the cost of the tape and cost of any materials that were purchased to facilitate the original order. By doing business with Rewind the Times you agree to not send us material listed above and understand the fee that pertains to the violation of that agreement. 

Rewind the Times is not responsible or liable in any way for any Content provided by others and has no duty to screen for such Content. However, Rewind the Times reserves the right at all times to determine whether Content is appropriate and in compliance with the above agreement and may refuse to continue service and/or remove Content at any time, without prior notice and in its sole discretion, if such Content is found to be in violation of the above or is otherwise objectionable.

For orders over $500, we require a signature.
